Who Are We?
GreenJolt Solutions is a Nigerian startup tackling the country’s persistent energy crisis through sustainable innovation. Over 85 million Nigerians lack access to reliable electricity, while many more experience frequent blackouts. In response, households and businesses often depend on petrol or diesel generators—solutions that are not only expensive to maintain but also harmful to the environment and public health due to noise and carbon emissions.
At GreenJolt, we’re bridging this energy divide by developing affordable, AI-powered portable power systems built from recycled batteries and electronic waste. Our approach combines circular economy principles with smart technology to create clean energy solutions that are sustainable, scalable, and accessible.
Our product line includes compact, portable power units designed for use in homes, small businesses, schools, and by remote workers. Each unit integrates an AI-based energy management system that intelligently monitors usage patterns, optimises power distribution, and ensures long-lasting performance. This makes our systems not just eco-friendly, but also smart and reliable.
What sets GreenJolt apart is our end-to-end model that begins with the collection of discarded batteries and electronics, followed by safe refurbishment and integration into new power systems. This reduces electronic waste in landfills, lowers production costs, and promotes responsible consumption.
Our solutions empower individuals and micro-enterprises who are often left behind by traditional grid infrastructure. From students needing steady electricity to study, people who work remotely, to traders needing to keep their shops powered, our systems provide an alternative that is clean, cost-effective, and easy to deploy.
We also offer maintenance support and energy-use analytics via a mobile app, helping users make informed decisions to extend battery life and manage consumption.
GreenJolt Solutions is more than a power company—we are a catalyst for green innovation in Africa. By merging renewable energy, artificial intelligence, and e-waste recycling, we are building a model that not only lights up homes but also inspires a future where energy access is a right, not a privilege. Our goal is to scale across West Africa, creating green jobs, reducing e-waste, and delivering smart, clean power to the millions who need it most.
